This extended Club World Cup has been pretty unusual and a good dress rehearsal for next summer's World Cup as there has been so much beyond the ability of players and teams to consider.

 

The weather with some games played at midday in sky high temperatures , in sticky , stormy conditions , allied to travel, odd kick off times arranged with the big overseas football markets in mind and quick turnarounds, have made this a thinking sports bettor's competition and all the better for that.
