Last five seasons have seen the 20 quarter final first legs end with an 11-6-3 split, so 55% home wins, just 15% going to the visitor. 55% have also gone over, including all the three away wins.

Fierce local rivalry between these two clubs with the towns separated by just 6-7 miles and no love lost between them, that is intensified this season with both teams battling relegation. I have spoken of both having improved or with potential to do so in recent months, writing about Bury in early February .............

Average lifespan of a blog is 100 days, far less for any related to sports betting and that says plenty about us and just as much about the terrific support we have had from subscribers/followers/readers , quite a few of whom have been with us since the early days.
