Hugely busy day today and I looked at four Ligue 2 games, one English fixture and wrote something about each of tomorrow's nine J-League matches. I wrote to most people in my database on August 7th, with both parts of my Championship preview notes, which had originally been sent to subscribers a couple of weeks earlier.

They ran to some 4,000 words in total and three selections were suggested .....

Very attractive looking game, not least because of the team news. But first, Marseille can go back to the top of the table with all three points and above hated rival PSG, which will make it all the sweeter, Bordeaux would go up to joint third with a win and just three points off the lead.

Really busy day today for clubgowi, at least eight and maybe as many as ten full match previews for subscribers to the newsletter service.

That number of previews give me more freedom to post free to view content, so I will put up at least one and quite possible two previews on here today.

However, most long term subscribers, once they are in the "club" pay little more than 1€ per newsletter and if you like the previews, the cost is hardly prohibitive .
