There was either a glitch on the website, or I made an error (more likely!), when I posted some pre-tournament Open Championship notes last week and instead of just posting the Top 20 bet (see previous post), I included one of my two main outright bets and that was 2 units on the winner Xander Schauffele @ 17.0! The other was 2.5 units each way Shane Lowery @ up to 46.0 and he finished 6th (8 places) and was trading at circa even money to win at one stage on Saturday!

Well, kind of !
At 09:00 today the schedule for the 2024/25 season will be released and that is always exciting for football fans and they will finally be able to set dates for holiday's / family BBQ's and the like. Although television companies will then mess up those plans by making last minute changes and supporters will be frantically changing, train/ plane and/or hotel ararngements, but the powers that be care little about that, however, today is still fun and a date in every supporters diary.
