Goals have pretty much been on the increase in Brazil post COVID, not that then President Jair Bolsonaro was too concerned about that, with, arguably, the worst pandemic response in the world, along with the US. Back to football.... 2.21 goals per game in 2021, 2.38 (2022), 2.48 ( 2023), 2.44 (2024), 2.52 (2025) and currently on track for 2.65. This season, 12 sides have also seen both teams score in between 58% and 79% of their games and I do not feel that odds have caught up with these trends and where some value can be found this weekend.
