The new Bundesliga season gets underway this weekend and I have written a few notes on all 18 teams and you can read them for free in the previous post, just scroll down. I also sent subcribers a couple of betting suggestions for the new German campaign with one ranked "very strong" at odds of 4.0.

Tomorrow's subscriber newsletter covers the weekend English football and contains eight previews across three leagues, but with main focus on the EPL. 

The Premier League restarts today. 89 is not only a prime number and the atomic number of actinium, it is the number of days since the 25/26 EPL season ended and, even with the World Cup to keep us occupied over the summer, that feels long enough.

We get the traditional big versus small fixture to kick us off, but for the third season running the Big 6 side is hosting and I am not keen on that development, surely more fun and a better spectacle if Coventry City had been at home to Arsenal.
