September ....

I cannot say that I am sad to see the back of September, lowlight of which was the worst ever week for the newsletter service (8th-14th), dates that will not be soon forgotten.
We did get about 85% of those losses back just a fornight later ( 22nd-28th) and actually managed to turn a small profit on the month, which, under the circumstances, was incredible.
There are roller coaster periods and then there was September ! The graph below highlights that, but don't look at it too long or you will feel like you have been on the big dipper.
We have discussed this before, losing periods are unavoidable, an occupational hazard if you like and they can mess with your head and it is easy to let a bad day or week, turn into a month or longer. It helps to look at the bigger picture, I know that extended winning and losing periods can only last so long and when you take a step back and look at the longer term, that massive downswing from last month (and the upswing shortly after) register far less, little nore than a hiccup in the graph below covering the last 22 months and whilst they are two extreme weeks, you cannot get from A (Jan 1st 2013) to B (September 30th 2014) without experiencing them somewhere along the line, it is the price you pay for having the turnover volume to create the significant long term profits.
Good luck.
