There will be a full house at Griffin Park today as Brentford wave goodbye to League 1, favourite son Kevin O'Connor who has not featured much in recent campaigns, will play today, his 500th start for the mighty Bees. That puts him 4th on the all time list and there is still life in the old dog yet ! He is actually only just 32 yo ,a rare one club man in modern football, a model professional and one hugely respected by fellow players and supporters alike.

Benfica made it through to the Europa League final on Thursday, we are on them outight at decent odds and everyone in the clubgowi data base was sent the preview below on March 13th, seven weeks ago.
They won 3-1 at Tottenham that night and are now trading at circa 1.75 for the final later this month.

Bit too early, with just nine rounds played, to get bogged down with stats in J-League, but we are averaging 2.62 goals per game and in terms of 1X2, we are running at 36%-21%-43%, so a "mean" fixture comes out to circa 2.78- 4.76- 2.32. Not much home advantage so far and leaders Antlers are 1-0-3 at the Kashima Soccer Stadium , which is hard to believe.

Lens were unable to hold on to the lead they held for 66 minutes at Chateauroux on Monday ( it seemed longer !), the point was still valuable for them, as it saw them edge four points ahead of Nancy and cement their second place in Ligue 2, which they will retain regardless of what happens today.
