The sporting world is a bit obsessed with the World Cup at the moment, but we have plenty of other major events too, test cricket ,Wimbledon starts next week and on July 16th the Open Championship, the oldest golf tournament in the world and arguably the most prestigious, returns to Royal Birkdale.  In the last four years alone we have three winners of this event @ 250-1 (!), 16-1 and 12-1, the first of which several readers backed @ 300-1 + on Betfair and we also had a 45-1 selection who landed a 9-1 place bet and who traded at even money to win at one stage, so a very good event for us and my notes for the Open will always be worthwhile reading!
