football betting tips -

I have just sent the first of today's two newsletters, it carries full previews of six matches and runs to a touch over 10,000 words, I am VERY proud of the content in that newsletter and regardless of results today, there will be notes there which will massively help readers to find winners in the coming weeks and that is what clubgowi is all about, HUGE long term profits and MASSIVE value for money.

The follow up newsletter, subject to any late changes is likely to carry another three previews and my established subscribers will pay 1.8 € in total for today's emails, which works out at about 90 words per cent !

I do not want to publish any of my football previews today on this an open forum as I feel the notes have continued value, but I did briefly talk about the Ladies final at the US Open tennis ........so "grazie" to Flavia Pennetta (pictured) and Roberta Vinci (for yesterday) and what a final in prospect for Italy to savour.

The two have met nine times before, but only one "recent" meeting and that was here in New York two years ago in what was a big quarter final for both, but nothing like today, in that match Vinci was VERY nervous and could hardly hit a second serve or return, she lost 4&1 but even that scoreline was a little flattering to her in terms of how she played and she mentioned that match in interview yesterday after she had beaten Serena and spoke remarkably honestly about it .......

Q. You touched upon a couple of times the fact that an Italian will certainly win tomorrow. I'd like you to elaborate on what it means to be playing in the final with Flavia.

ROBERTA VINCI: What does it mean to play? Yeah, will be a tough match for both tomorrow. I think a lot of pressure. But we know each other for a long time. I played against her three or four years ago and I lost on the center court. I remember that I was completely scared, like a little bit blocked. I didn't play. I didn't play in that case. So I hope that tomorrow -- of course I will do my best. But I will like to play. To play, enjoy, enjoy and to play my game, and not so stressed or tight. Because it's a finals. It's normal. Come on. Enjoy. That's it.

I remember that match well and Vinci simply didn't show up and there is a danger that the same thing happens again, ahead of that meeting I spoke about the friendship between the two.............

Official h2h stats show these two as tied at 4-4, six of those came on clay, one on carpet and they have not faced each other in well over three years, so we can largely discount all of those. In actual fact, the pair have probably played 30-40 times together, they have known each other for over 20 years, are lifelong friends and have grown up playing with and against each other. They won the French Open Junior doubles title as 16/17 year olds and had been learning their craft on the Italian courts for almost a decade before that. Flavia Pennetta admitted yesterday that it will be tough for both playing a close friend in such a huge match, with a grand slam semi final at stake.

This really is going to be a very special day for Italy and I hope that both can play their game, but I feel that Pennetta is the stronger player and that she is more likely to handle the situation better , she did not sleep well before her semi apparently, but still brought her A game and I expect her to win, but feel she is plenty short enough in the betting and my inclination is to pass. However, if you have to bet something, we have not seen a lot of three set Ladies slam finals anywhere and 7/10 in Australia, 8/9 Wimbledon, 12/14 Roland Garros and 17/19 in New York have all been decided in two sets and nerves have been the deciding factor almost as much as ability and that could go double today with two first time finalists. Pennetta 2-0 in sets is 2.10-2.20, Vinci 2-0 in sets circa 5.0-5.50, closest I can get to a bet is Flavia in two, but just 1 unit is the stake and even that is with my arm being twisted.

I am not going to bet the Men's final so that will be it for the US Open and for tennis until January and the Australian Open, aside from the suggestion above, we ended the US Open with a ROI of +47.49% from 18 bets.

Good Luck.
