MLS betting preview : Columbus Crew-Houston Dynamo

football betting tips -

I "only" went with four selections in the end today, ( one is reproduced below) ,but did stick with two "very strong" 1.75 unit selections. Everyone in the clubgowi database was sent two previews on Wednesday, which both won at odds of circa 2.05 and 2.30 +. There are 30 free newletters still up for grabs ( up to July 1st), email me at gowi8@btinternet.com for details.

MLS: Columbus Crew- Houston Dynamo

Really tough for Houston here, they are without Brad Davis (11-3-2) on the left of midfield and Boniek Garcia ( 9-0-2) on the other flank, both on international duty. Central defender Bobby Boswell is supended (12-0-0), he has missed just 8 games in the last three seasons, with Dynamo going 1-4-3 in his absence, conceding 13 goals, two or more in five of those. The situation is further complicated by the loss of another central defender in Jermain Taylor ( 10-0-0) and if, as seems likely, left back Corey Ashe (13-0-0), also misses out it will be terribly difficult to overcome in a stadium where they have not won since 2007. Ashe was listed as out all week and did not train until yesterday, but might be able to play some part, he has missed just two starts in 13 months, a 3-1 loss at Philly and 2-0 defeat in Colorado. With three strikers Calen Carr, Omar Cummings and Cam weaver all still sidelined too, options are really limited.

We spoke about Crew ahead of their recent trip to Toronto...
"Crew arrive here on the back of home defeats to Red Bulls and Rapids, but could hardly ask for a better opponent on the road, given TFC's dismal record and how Columbus have totally dominated the series, they have only ever lost to the Reds in 17 h2h meetings are are unbeaten ( 2-5-0) in games in Ontario.

I think they were unfortunate to lose those two games, they were unbeaten in 12 home starts prior to that and outshot their opponent massively in both defeats, with a combined 37 attempts on goal and had enough chances to have won both, They are without central defender Chad Marshall (10-0-0) and striker Jairo Arrietta, left back Agustin Viana and defensive midfielder Danny O'Rourke, all of which is going to leave them vunerable defensively."

They edged that 1-0 and followed up with a fine 2-2 draw at New York Red Bulls, where they led until the "fat lady" was just about to start her act and this looks a perfect opportunity to get back on track at home. They will be without hard working Eddie Gaven (10-0-3) on the right flank and striker Dominic Oduro (12-6-0) is a doubt, but  Jairo Arrieta (9-1-3) who was with the Costa Rica national team in midweek returns, as does Gláuber (12-0-1) who missed the match in the Big Apple due to suspension. They have options for their missing and the situation is far worse for Dynamo, who may be forced to play one or two out of position and all 4-5 named above are not only starters, but key.  Columbus Crew -0.25 ball 2.0 asian line/Ibramarket.

Good Luck.
