I suspect the Black Cats would like to get this done and dusted today, which is stating the obvious, but Arsenal can secure a top 3 place with a point and turn on the style for home supporters against Albion at the weekend, when both teams can relax and entertain. Of course, the Gunners still have a small chance of finishing second, but would need Southampton to win at Manchester City over the weekend and that is a tall order. The draw today is priced as big as 6.0 and that looks perfectly fine given the circumstances and you would get no argument from me about betting that. However, we do have a big gulf in class and the hosts are still smarting from their last home game, a 1-0 defeat to Swansea City and were scoreless in a draw with Chelsea before that, the chances of them coming up short a third time in a row are rather slim, given that the last pair of scoreless games were four years ago and I could not find three on a quick look beyond that. Therefore, I have to feel that Sunderland will need a goal to get something from this and of the struggling teams, Leicester City, QPR, Newcastle United and Hull City have all managed that this season at the Emirates and the visitors have done so in six of their last eight on the road, including at Tottenham, Everton (2) and Manchester City( 2) and my pick is.......
