I previewed Huesca's last away game, a trip to Levante, speaking about how much better they were than the league table suggested............

Huesca are still bottom of La Liga, but could move to within three points of safety with the win today ( they were 11 adrift a month ago) and are rejuvenated in 2019, they have taken seven points from three starts without conceding, scoring six goals themselves and that includes a point at Sociedad and 2-0 win at Girona who boosted the form line with that win at Real Madrid yesterday.
Huesca remain bottom, seven points from safety, but have collected 15 points from 13 starts, after just 8 from their opening 17 games. Also, performances have been better than that and in terms of expected goals for and against and points, which are significantly superior to what the actual table suggests. They "should" have another 8 goals on board, conceded 2 fewer and collected a massive 12.5 additional points. The 3-3 draw with Celta in midweek, when Huesca "won" 3.59-1.96 was fairly typical, they missed 3 massive chances and had 17 attempts inside the box, Celta only allowed 15 to Real Madrid in their previous away start and 5 at Barcelona, of course their ambition in those games would have been less, so space more limited, but still ! Levante are the opposite, they should have scored two fewer, conceded 10 more and we are already talking about the worst defensive record in La Liga and they should have 3 points fewer on board, a whopping 15 points swing with Huesca. Games are running out now, this is the type of fixture the visitors just have to get a result from , they pose the greater offensive threat and Levante are leaky, even more so than bare stats suggest. Ruben Vezo and Erick Cabaco are both suspended for the home side, leading to a defensive reshuffle for Levante.
Levante led early, but Huesca got back on level terms, eventually drew 2-2 and had more than enough chances to have taken all three points. Huesca drew 0-0 with a much rotated and understrength Barcelona last week, it was apoint they probably didn't expect a month ago, but given the Barce line up , they might be disappointed, however, it was a game of few chances and this will surely be more open. Rayo are the team immediately above Huesca in La Liga, 2 points ahead and the two teams 7 and 5 points respectively from safety. I cannot see either settling for a point and they do both make that two struggling teams criteria, so we can definitely expect goals and I am also keen again on the visitors. I would rather have taken -0.25/0.5 on Huesca but odds for level ball asian line is more and too attractive.
