Ahead of tomorrow's games, below is the league table in order, figures alongside each team are attempts from inside the box, minus those given up, so Lorient have created 39 , allowed 42, therefore -3.

 

Seven games is not much, but only Orleans in the real bottom half of the table have a + ITB diffence and only at +1 so that looks a true reflection on those 10, so, therefore, why should there not be at least some credence in the numbers at the other end ?

 

Some alarm bells being sounded amongst 4 of the top 5 and it is positively an air raid siren in the case of Valenciennes.

 

Troyes, Chambly, Lens and Auxerre have all posted good numbers, I can make a case for Auxerre's being as good as anyone and Chambly being flattering, but will save that for another day (tomorrow ?)

 

Lots to go through with these at some stage, but for example, Sochaux have only created more than three attempts ITB in one of their seven starts and that is not enough and the fact that the one set of decent numbers they posted came versus VAFC doesn't say much about either team.
