NFL betting preview: Cowboys get rowdy at SoFi ...........

football betting tips -

NFL: Dallas Cowboys @ LA Rams

This is being played in LA, but Cowboys fans are expected to take over the stadium , making up most of the crowd to such a level that the home team have been practicing all week with a silent count and pumping extra noise through speakers for these sessions to try and replicate what they will face today. This was the scene when Dallas played here at SoFi last year against the Chargers and you can barely see a home fan. Dallas have the biggest fan base in Southern California and hold their summer camps in the state. So no real home field advantage.

Dallas have been operating with quarterback Dak Prescott, but have managed to get to 3-1 and have performed better defensively each week giving up 19-17-16-10 points, being one of only two teams to yet concede 20 points. They put all star defensive numbers last week and are holding all quarterbacks faced to an average sub 70 passer rating and that included Tom Brady, although he did manage 87.3. They have allowed just 174 yards passing and that defensive line will be all over Rams QB Matt Stafford today. Last season Stafford was sacked 1.76 per regular season game ( 4.0 in 2022) and threw 41 TD's to 17 INT (4 to 6 in 2022). He faced a very similar defense on Monday against the Niners (the other team who have yet to give up 20 points) and posted just 9 points (three field goals) . That is a quick turnaround and not a lot of time to correct things for today and I feel, regardless of result, that the Dallas Cowboys are a fantastic price and have to be backed, Rams OL has gone from hero to zero in double quick time and faces an elite defense again today.
