Napoli are very good and head coach Luciano Spalletti has made them extremely tough to beat, whilst really entertaining and fun to watch. They have not lost since April, that's 20 games, winning 18 and scoring a ton of goals and they have barely taken a single backwards step through those 1,800 + minutes. Gli Azzurri are not only the best team in Italy right now (only Inter come close IMO) , but look elite level in the Champions League and it feels like they have made a quantum leap forward in the last 12 months. However, post pandemic it is Sassuolo whom we have championed in these kinds of games ( away to the best in Serie A) and done so INCREDIBLY well with and can we really let odds of 10.0 + pass ? I don't think so and similarly feel it would be wrong to do so. Since 2020 Sassuolo have won away to Inter, Napoli, Lazio, Juventus and Milan (twice) and scored 2+ goals eight times in those games. They have actually scored in the last four h2h meetings (home and away) with Napoli, eight goals total, but also conceded 11 times.

 

The afternoon kick off feels in the visitors favour given that Napoli played in midweek and despite that fearsome record, the hosts have conceded twice, at home to both Ajax and Bologna, in the last 17 days.
