Thursday 03/08: Leagues Cup, PGA golf and the next part of my EPL long term notes.

 

Friday 04/08: Leagues Cup, Championship and the weekend J-League notes.

 

Saturday 05/08: EFL , Brazil Serie A and Ligue 2 .

 

Sunday 06/08: Leagues Cup, Brazil Serie A and Championship, plus PGA golf.

 

A very busy rest of the week, especially from Thursday onwards.

This weekend sees the start of the EFL games and Ligue 2 in France.

 

The PGA event , the Wyndham Championship is hugely important as it is the last chance for players to force their way into the top 70 in the FedEx standings and to qualify for the playoffs which begin next week, a scenario which usually throws up some good betting opportunities.

 

The group stage of the Leagues Cup has now finished and the R32 will be played Wednesday-Friday inclusive ( August 2-4), with the R16 starting on Sunday. The final 32 is made up of 20 teams who play in the MLS and 12 from Liga MX, but it does feel like it is the Mexican sides who are coming on strong.
