However, it is true that NM are also better offensively and they have qualified for the euros via their National League campaign and they have scored 14 goals in their last five starts, which, incredibly , included a 2-1 over Germany in Duisburg in WC qualifying. That result sent shock waves around the football world and will ensure that no one treats the debutants lightly, but Austria will surely be as up for this and will be confident with the two h2h games still fresh in the memory and it is hard to over emphasize how dominant they were in those fixtures.
