In addition to four full previews, today's clubgowi newsletter also took at look at some possible "in running" opportunities for the weekend English leagues, touching upon nine games, four of which you can view below.

Championship:

Sheffield United- Leeds United..............This will be a fiercely competitive Yorkshire derby, probably tight early, but likely to get stretched late, 11 of 37 goals scored at Bramall Lane (29.7%) have come in the final 15 minutes of games, Leeds road games have seen 40 goals total, with a whopping 50% coming in the final 30 minutes.

Brentford - Preston North End............. Always late action at the Theatre of Sleepless Nights, otherwise known as Griffin Park where the mighty Bees have a -2 first half goal difference, which rises to +10 after the break and +7 through the final 15 minutes once teams realise that resistance is futile. Preston have a terrible record in this fixture losing on their last 4 visits and home and away have beaten the Bees just once in ten starts ( 8 defeats) that should ensure they set up tight early and they have not conceded a road goal inside the opening 30 minutes all season.

League 1:

Gillingham -Peterborough United

Rain forecast for today and away fans who have been to Priestfield know what that means.....they will be getting very wet ! With the "temporary" stand which has now been at that end of the ground for two decades, leaving supporters totally exposed to the elements. However, anyone in the stadium should be warmed by some late action. Gills have scored 16 of 19 home goals after the break and they have a first half goal difference here of -5, but a very noteworthy +7 through the second period. This is mirrored by Posh who have conceded 10 of 19 away goals in the final 15 minutes of games.

Rochdale- Fleetwood Town

Pitch here is in terrible condition and has not been helped by the weather this week, or Dale playing a cup tie on it against Millwall on Tuesday, which earned them a game here against Tottenham in just 8 days time. The hosts will have one eye on that despite their precarious league position and are bound to be tired after playing a Championship team a few days ago in such testing conditions and I doubt they will see out the second 45 minutes as well as Fleetwood Town. Dale have conceded 10 of 11 (91%) home goals after the break , which is when the Cod Army have scored 17 of 20 (85%)on the road !

Good Luck .
